Consisting of members of Reggae legends Troy Ellis & The Longshots, Soul/Funk pro’s Soulside, Classic Rock giants Straight Shooter, Irish Folk legends Beyond The Pale, Frank Zappa tribute band Burger & The Beast, and circuit legends Cause For Concern and complemented by a selection of further guest musicians as well as a full brass section and string quartet, The Sgt. Pepper Thing has been specially put together for this year’s Festival and will be performing the classic Beetles album Sgt. Peppers Lonely Hearts Club Band in it’s entirety, and finishing off the night with one or two little surprises.
We just hope the stage will be big enough…

One of the best classic rock cover outfits on the circuit, Straight Shooter formed in 2005, and haven’t stopped since. Years of constant performances have turned them into a lean mean gigging machine, who constantly impress. For this year’s Festival, in what promises to be a truly electric performance, the boys will be heads down and rocking out with a set of Bon Scott era AC/DC material. It’s going to be as tight as a pair of shrunk-to-fit Levis, and very hard to top…

Formed in 2006, The Venezuelan Pig Rustlers are legends in their own lifetime. The frankly amazing guitar work of Lou Coyles combined with the ever charismatic vocals of Sheldon Gould and the solid but effortless rhythm section of Colin Hurle and Phil Gyles constantly and consistently provide 1st class performances. For your listening pleasure at this years Festival, they will be paying tribute to the music of Free… and we can’t wait!

Bringing a little dose of Texas to the South West of England, Rattlesnake Shake will perform a storming set of ZZ Top classics. Julian Sims’ undeniable talent with a fully loaded 6-String floats effortlessly over one of the tightest rhythm sections on the circuit, in the form of Sim Didcott and Phil Leahy. No beards required (but graciously accepted).

Sour Cream are three musical powerhouses (including two from the stunning Who tribute band, Who's Next), congealed into one glorious (if slightly out of date) globule. They could be described as the first Tribute to a Supergroup that is actually a Tribute Supergroup - it's members having been on the circuit since the very first Elvis said "tonight Matthew, I am going to be.....".
Ellis Clapped-out, Slack Bruce, and oh so predictably, Ginger Faker are SOUR CREAM!!

Think of a smoky basement club. Think sweat dripping from the ceilings. Think the Yardbirds but with Reggie King on vocals. In the words of the immortal Donald ‘Duck’ Dunn, “these boys roll like the proverbial steam train”. So what is this? British RnB? Powerpop? Maximum Garage Soul? You decide! Played from the heart to capture yours.

With the combined winnings of Moles Battle of The Bands in 2004 and the Porter Cellar Bar's Battle of the Musos 2004, The Doubtful Guest recorded their debut album 'Volume Two' to the delight of the hundreds of dedicated fans who have already bought it.
Since then they have gigged extensively, playing at the Glastonbury Festival for the last three years running and the Trowbridge Pump Folk Festival twice as well as multiple appearances at other large festivals and venues across the country.
Along the way they've picked up support slots with such diverse acts as Kimya Dawson, The Crazy World of Arthur Brown, Patricia Vonne, and most recently Josh Ritter and his band. This is original alternative country at its very best.

Local legend Tom White fronts The Jimi Hendrix Experiment – making this his first gig with a full band since circuit faves Hooker went their separate ways some years ago. The show will do exactly what it says on the tin, moving the day towards it’s tribute section with much smoothness!

Maribava are a Bruton based acoustic duo with a big difference, whose music is truly inspiring. At times Simon & Garfunkel, at others a cross between Radiohead, Moby and Massive Attack – this duo will not fail to impress and captivate. Words have not been created that are descriptive enough to do these guys justice – all we ask is that you come and listen. They deserve it. You deserve it.

Looper are a 3-piece originals band from Glastonbury, formed in 2004 and consisting of brothers Paul, Terry and Peter Rendell. Their music speaks for itself – it’s blues/rock foundations giving rise to rhythmic breakdowns and extended instrumental journeys while supporting a meaty groove. Don’t believe us?

Moons ago, two buddies decided they each wanted to learn to play a music instrument. Steve Wordley took up the accordion and Steve Cameron, the banjo. Trowbridge Cricket Club kindly offered space for practicing, the only room available often being the ‘away’ changing room next to the gents toilet. From this evolved the name of the band. Various other musicians joined in over a period of time and eventually the band was formed and Folk / Americana / Celtic noises were made.
By the way, Mr Wordley also tells jokes—but, there you go, there’s always a downside to things.
